New school in a yurt in outside Bath with no exams or rules costs £1,200 a term

In a field in Southstoke near Bath you’ll find a very different type of school. Run by The Green House Education Project, its 25 pupils aged 5-14 spend most of their school days outdoors, learning through interaction and play. There are no rules, no exams, and the children can wear what they like – one girl preferring to  dressed in a pink tutu and wellies.

Qualified teachers and mums, Anna Robinson and Cindy Adams are behind the project, both of them disillusioned with the school system and the pressures it puts on children, both of them wanting their own children to discover the best of themselves.
